INTRODUCTION:

• The present catalogue contains the whole range of assembly units and parts for
  tractors BELARUS 510/510.1/512/512.1/520/522, equipped with diesel engines D-244
  (41.9 kW)/D-242 (45.6 kW).
• The catalogue is meant for organizations and firms that
  are concerned with tractor sales, operation and repair. It can be used in calculation and
  preparation of orders for spare parts and serves as a manual during tractor
  disassembling and assembling. All changes related to tractor design development are
  represented in respective information sheets.

HOW TO USE THE CATALOGUE:

• Catalogue includes tractor assembly units and parts.
• Assembly units and parts are divided into groups and subgroups according to
  functional attribute. This directory is well illustrated with axonometric figures of
  knocked-down tractor components. All parts in the figures have sequence numbers
  (figure numbers). For ease of catalogue reference in search for necessary part the same
  sequence numbers are placed in column “Pos. No.” in the text part of the catalogue in
  ascending order from top downward. The figures referred to in the catalogue are welldone
  in the terms of art and let the user get acquainted with structure and configuration
  of parts and assembly units. They can serve as a manual for carrying out disassembling
  and assembling operations.
  For example, the following record is given in the catalogue:
  “…240-1004100-А 4 Connecting rod (13,20,21,37-39)”.
• It means that assembly unit “Connecting rod” in the number of 4 pieces per diesel
  engine consists of the following parts: bushing (pos. 21), connecting rod (pos. 20),
  connecting-rod bolt (pos. 13), connecting-rod cap (pos. 39), washer (pos. 38) and nut
  (pos. 37). “Quantity” column gives number of assembly units and parts used in this
  subgroup (1004) per tractor.
• Conventional seven-digit system of assembly unit and parts designation (after
  prefix) is applied for the tractors.
• Prefixes A1, A2 and A3 that follow seven-digit part number mean that the
  design of these parts or assembly units has been changed, but is still interchangeable
  with the previously produced designs. Prefixes Б, Б1, Б2, В, Г, Д, etc. mean that new
  part designs will not be interchangeable with parts of previously produced designs, but
  are interchangeable with each other within the range of one symbol.
• Digit prefixes that follow the part or assembly unit number, e.g. 01, 02, 03, etc.,
  describe part or assembly unit version (structural or climatic) and these parts are not
  interchangeable with each other.
  For example, parts “240-1104300-01 (1st cylinder tube) and “240-1104300-02 (2nd
  cylinder tube)” have different structural variations and are not interchangeable.
