GENERAL INFORMATION

• This Parts Catalog has been prepared for your convenience when ordering parts for the 2003 Firebolt XB9R motorcycle. Prices of parts listed in this catalog are published separately. The following instructions should be followed carefully when ordering parts.
• An asterisk (*) in the “MODELS” column indicates the part is used through the current model year. 
• When a part is revised during the model year the early version part will be marked in the MODELS column with ‘E’ followed by the model year in which the change occurred. This indicates the part was used early in the model year.The latest version of the part will be marked in the MODELS column with ‘L’ followed by the model year in which the change occurred. This indicates the part was used late in the model year 
• Index numbers shown in the illustrations correspond to index numbers in parts lists. The number in parenthesis following the description of parts is the quantity needed for complete assembly. If there is no number in parenthesis, only one is used.
• Specify the correct part number for each item. Check the "MODELS" column of the parts list which shows the model on which the part fits. Whenever in doubt, refer to the Vehicle Identification Number (V.I.N.) stamped on the frame and engine crankcase.
