Introduction
Mr. Dealer:
- When ordering service parts, specify the correct part number, full description of the part, quantity required and, the unit model number and serial number. The model and serial numbers for this unit are on a decai located on the right side ofthe mainframe leg near the left side of the left tire.
- “Right” and “Left” are determined from a position standing behind the machine and facing the direction the machine will trave! when in use. GEHL Company reserves the right to make changes or improvements in the design or construction of any part of the unit without incurring the obligation to instai! such changes on any unit previously delivered
- Most hydraulic hoses and tubes are described by their diameters, lengths and terminations. Hydraulic fittings are described by their size, type and terminations. Hardware listed is for mounting purposes and is NOT included when the part is ordered for replacement.
- Thread-forming screws are also used in numerous places for original assembly but can be replaced by appropriate length, diameter and thread-sized cap screws. Plain cotter pins are described in callouts with many illustrations but should be understood as replaceable with equivalent sized cotter pins which are purchased locally.
- Refer to the abbreviations table, provided on this page, for the proper descriptions of various parts and fasteners. Unless otherwise specified, ali Cap Screws or Bolts are Grade 5, cadmium or zinc plated; Hexagon Nuts for Grade 5 Cap Screws or Bolts are Grade B; Hexagon Nuts for other Cap Screws or Bolts are Grade A.
