INTRODUCTION:

This Operator’s Manual gives the owner/operator information about maintaining and servicing the QW2500, 2600 and 2800 Quick Wrap attachments. More important, this manual provides an operating plan for safe and proper use of the equipment. Major points of safe operation are detailed in the Safety chapter of this manual.

• We ask that you read and understand the contents of this manual completely and become familiar with your new attachment before operating it. See your authorized Gehl dealer if you have any questions concerning information in the manual or require additional manuals.
• Throughout this manual, information is provided that is set in italic type and introduced by the word NOTE or IMPORTANT. BE SURE to carefully read and comply with the message or directive given. Following this information will improve operating or maintenance efficiency, help avoid costly breakdowns or unnecessary damage and extend the attachment’s life.
• The Gehl baler this attachment is designed to be mounted on is provided with a pocket on the inside of the right twinebox for storing the Operator’s Manuals. After using it, please return the manual to the pocket and keep it with the unit at all times! Furthermore, we recommend that if this machine is re-sold, this manual accompany the unit.
• If this machine was purchased “used,” or if the owner’s address has changed, please provide your Gehl dealer or Gehl Company Service Department with the owner’s name and current address, along with the machine model and serial number. This will allow the registered owner information to be updated, so that the owner can be notified directly in case of an important product issue, such as a safety update program.
