This Workshop Manual has been written to provide service personnel
with pertinent information regarding the mechanics, servicing and
maintenance of the V3300-E2B, V3300-T-E2B Series. It is divided into three parts,
“General”, “Mechanical” and “Maintenance”.
■ General
This section describes information regarding
engine identification, general precautions, maintenance checklist,
check and maintenance procedures and the tools required to
perform maintenance.
■ Mechanical
Information regarding construction and operation is included. This information must be
understood before troubleshooting, disassembly
and maintenance is undertaken.
Refer to the Diesel Engine Mechanical Workshop Manual (Code No. 9Y021-02280
) for all matters not described in this workshop manual.
■ Maintenance
This information covers troubleshooting,
maintenance specification list, tightening torques, checking and adjustments, disassembly and assembly, and
maintenance covering procedures, warnings and factory specifications
and allowable limits.
