The engine model and number are shown on the engine identification plate (see ”Engine information”). Always state the engine model and number in correspondence about the engine. The workshop manual is primarily intended for AB Volvo Penta service workshops and their qualified staff. It is assumed therefore that people using the manual have basic knowledge and can carry out the mechanical and electrical work involved.
